Salted Fish (Sang-sun jo-rim)

Six (6) servings.

  • 1 pound fish
  • 1/4 cup shoyu (korean soy sauce)
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 green onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon candied ginger

Skin, bone and clean fish. Cut in pieces 1 inch square and 1/4 inch thick. Add soy sauce, water, sugar, pepper.

Cut onion (including tops), garlic and ginger diagonally in thin pieces and add to the fish.

Mix well and cook until the fish is tender.

This is salty and is tasty in small quantities with rice.
