Fried Beef Balls (Wan-jah juhn)

Six (6) servings.

  • 1/2 pound beef
  • 3 tablespoons shoyu (Korean soy sauce)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 green onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon prepared sesame seed
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • dash of pepper
  • 3 tablespoons flower
  • 2 eggs

Chop the beef fine. Add shoyu, salt, chopped onion (including tops), chopped garlic, prepared sesame seed, oil, pepper and mix well.

Shape into flat balls 1 1/2 inches in diameter.

Roll in flour and slightly beated egg and fry in a small amount of oil until tender.

Serve with vinegar-shoyu.
