Beef and Bean and Onions and Celery on Skewers (Pah sahn-junk)

Six (6) servings.

  • 1/2 pound of beef
  • 1 bunch of tender green onions
  • 1 bunch celery
  • 2 tabelspoons of shoyu (Korean soy sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons of prepared sesame seed
  • 1 egg
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons oil
  • 3 tablespoons floor

Cut the beef info strips 2 inches long, 1/4 inch wide, 1/4 inch thick.

Count the number of pieces of beef and cut the same number of pieces of onion and celery, slightly longer than the meat.

Combine soy sauce, prepared sesame seed, pepper, chopped garlic, sugar, 1 tablespoon oil and add to the beef.

Let stand 15 minutes.

Run the skewer through a piece of meat, then a piece of onion and then a piece of celery, until there are three pieces of meat and two pieces of onion and celery on the skewer.

Prepare all the meat, onion and celery in this way.

Dip each piece in flour, then slightly beaten egg and fry slowly on both sides until meat, onions and celery are tender.
